Climate Finance for Carbon Neutrality in Thailand
In accordance with the recommendations enumerated in CASE's carbon neutrality scenario, this report examines financial instruments intended to aid the energy sector's transition to carbon neutrality. The objective is to propose financial mechanisms or instruments that support the reduction of carbon emissions in the energy, transportation, and industry sectors. The study presents a comprehensive set of financial policies, mechanisms, and instruments designed to support Thailand's short-, medium-, and long-term carbon neutrality pathway. The report begins with an overview of the global climate finance landscape, investigates Thailand's current position, and concludes with the identification of appropriate financial and economic strategies, measures, and instruments to assist Thailand in achieving its 2050 Carbon Neutral objective in the energy sector.
